- The British Film Institute's National Archive is a great source of found footage. The BFI looks after one of the largest and most important collections of film and television in the world. Its teams of experts ensure that the collection is preserved and developed for future generations and made widely accessible to today’s audiences.

- Creative Scotland, along with Education Scotland, has developed this website resource, Screening Shorts. It is the national leader for Scotland’s arts, screen and creative industries. One of this organisations's main jobs is to help Scotland’s creativity shine at home and abroad.
- Aims to inspire and stimulate creativity in learning and teaching through partnerships between education and the arts and cultural sectors, to support the Curriculum for Excellence.
- Along with Creative Scotland, Education Scotland is a partner in the development of this website resource, Screening Shorts. Education Scotland is the national body responsible for supporting quality and improvement in Scottish education.
- Film Education is a National Education Network provider. A charity funded by the UK film industry, it promotes the use of film within the UK national curriculum. Film Education provides award-winning teaching resources, teacher training and cinema based events which support the use of film within the curriculum.
